The second generation Diavel 1260 and S variant are more cool and more powerful with the Testastretta DVT engine block similar to the XDiavel.

Diavel 1260 is equipped with a steel frame similar to the brother XDiavel. In addition, there is a shock absorber front 50 mm diameter and mono-shock on the rear wheel, Diavel 1260S version using 48 mm adjustable fork and rear fork of Ohlins. Diavel 1260 uses 14-spoke wheels, while Diavel 1260S is 10-spoke wheels with Pirelli tires Diablo Rosso III tire size 120/70 ZR17 on the front wheel and 240/45 ZR17 at the back.

Other equipment on the new Diavel 1260 has a TFT color screen, keyless entry, cruise control. Besides, in the S version will have more bluetooth connectivity, LED lights for all lights on the car including daytime running lights. Moreover, the S version is also linked to the Ducati Quick Shift Up & Down Evo (DQS) system.

The driver can customize between Sport, Touring and Urban driving modes. In each mode, engine power, traction, wheels, ABS brakes while cornering (cornering ABS) will be adjusted accordingly.

The chassis of the Ducati Diavel 1260 has also been upgraded for better response. ECU electronic control of the car is also improved to increase sportiness. The electronic equipment on the car will be managed by a 6-axis inertia measuring system of Bosch.

The second generation Diavel 1260 and S variant have a cooler appearance, look more powerful. The most notable is the 1,262cc Testastretta DVT engine block similar to the XDiavel with a maximum capacity of 159 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and maximum torque of 129 Nm at 7,500 rpm.
